Terms for using MakerBatch

These practical terms set expectations for the MakerBatch open beta. They are written to be understandable and may be refined as the service grows.

Last updated August 2, 2026

Open beta access

MakerBatch is currently in open beta. Anyone may register, but beta features, pricing, and these Terms and Conditions may change at any time as the service develops. New accounts must acknowledge the current beta notice during signup.

Your information and decisions

You are responsible for the accuracy of the supplies, recipes, quantities, costs, orders, customer details, and other information you enter or import. Review MakerBatch results before relying on them for production or purchasing decisions.

Planning assistance, not a guarantee

MakerBatch is a planning and organization tool. It does not guarantee inventory accuracy, production capacity, delivery dates, profitability, or marketplace outcomes, and it does not provide financial, tax, legal, or marketplace-compliance advice.

Lawful and responsible use

Use MakerBatch only for lawful business purposes. Do not upload harmful content, passwords, authentication secrets, payment-card data, or information you do not have permission to use. You remain responsible for complying with the rules of Etsy or any other marketplace you use.

Your content

You keep ownership of the business information and order files you upload. You confirm that you have permission to use customer artwork and reference images, and you allow MakerBatch and its service providers to process that information only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

Customer proof links are private shared links rather than customer accounts. You are responsible for sending them only to the intended reviewer and replacing a link if it was shared with the wrong person.

Optional Etsy integration

Connect only Etsy shops you own or are authorized to manage. Order importing uses narrow read-only access. If you explicitly send fulfillment from a finished order, MakerBatch uses transaction-write access to submit the carrier, tracking number, and shipment date to Etsy, which may notify the buyer.

The term ‘Etsy’ is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Optional Shopify integration

Connect only Shopify stores you own or are authorized to manage. Order importing uses narrow read-only order and product access. If you explicitly send fulfillment from a finished order, MakerBatch uses merchant-managed fulfillment access to create the Shopify fulfillment and may ask Shopify to notify the customer.

Service changes and availability

During the beta, MakerBatch may add, remove, pause, or discontinue features or the service. We may revoke access for abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or violations of these terms.

Exports and backups

MakerBatch provides business-data exports under Settings → Data export. You are responsible for downloading and keeping any backups you need. Beta availability and data retention are not guaranteed.

Updates to these terms

These terms may change as the open beta develops. The latest version and update date will remain available on this page.
